Timer, PIC16F628

Timer, PIC16F628

Project description:
This is a cyclic timer (24 hours clock) which may be programmed to turn on and off some device at programmed time. I made it because I’m too lazy to turn light in my aquarium in the morning and turn it off in the evening.

Electronics used:

This is a pretty nice design clock/timer, Great for turning things on and off. The gerber files are available, and I had a total of seven boards made, from several different PCB companies. The firmware has two different versions, the newer one is buggy and basically non functional. The older firmware with assembler file works pretty good, although I had to edit several things to improve the accuracy of the clock. I have had built 4 of the clocks and they have been running for about a year with no problems.
